Conversational Industry Engagement
All too often, the innovation sector sees engagement with industry as about one thing: accessing funding, either to do something or because they’ve done something they believe is valuable. Yet industry’s potential to supply untied funding to innovation is, in many ways, the least valuable contribution it has to offer.
This module draws on elements of the four core Conversational Commerce skill modules – persuasion, money, writing and profile – in the context of engaging with industry. It uses a functional model of industry founded on purpose pursued and not activities undertaken, and four core skill groups. During the course of the day, these will enable each participant to not only refine their understanding of the scope and scale of the true industry in which they operate, but use this as the basis for a personalised engagement strategy with priority targets and actions which will serve both their immediate and long-term professional goals.
